Materials & Gemstones
What metals do you use?
We primarily use 925 sterling silver. Some designs are gold vermeil (a thick layer of gold over sterling silver) or sealed mixed metal accents. Copper wire appears in some handcrafted wraps; all copper components are lead-free.
Are your gemstones real?
Yes. Our stones are genuine, hand-selected by Vee. You’ll see natural variations in color and inclusions—that uniqueness is part of the appeal of real materials.
Where do you source your stones?
We source directly at reputable gem shows (including Tucson) and, for jade specifically, from Canadian suppliers known for quality.
Are your chains nickel-free?
Sterling silver chains are nickel-free. If you have specific metal sensitivities, feel free to reach out and we’ll confirm details for a given piece.
Jewelry Care
Sterling Silver & Vermeil ✨
Avoid chemicals, lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products. Remove jewelry for workouts, cleaning, cooking, swimming, and bathing. If tarnish appears, use a silver polishing cloth or a gentle silver-safe cleaner.
Jade 🍃
Wipe with a damp cloth once a week to remove oils. Let it dry fully, then store in a soft pouch or zip-top bag to prevent scratches.
Amber 🍯
Amber is soft and can scratch. Store it separately (pouch or zip-top bag), avoid heat, perfume, and long exposure to water, and remove before exercise or bathing.
Mixed Metal (Sealed) 🪙
Our mixed metal pieces are sealed to resist tarnish. Wipe clean as needed and store in a zip-top bag when not in use.
Pearls 🫧
After each wear, wipe gently with a damp, clean microfiber cloth (reserved for pearls only). Let dry completely and store separately. Put pearls on last—after hair products, perfume, or lotions—to protect the luster.
Orders & Shipping
How long does processing take?
Orders are processed within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking by email when your order ships.
How long is shipping?
U.S. transit time is typically 3–5 business days after shipping. International dispatch is 3–5 days, with delivery in about 2–4 weeks, depending on destination and carrier.
Do I pay customs or duties?
For international orders, customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are not included and are the buyer’s responsibility at delivery.
Holiday season delays
November–December can bring postal delays, and delivery times may increase. If you have a firm date, please contact us before ordering.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unworn, unused items in original condition and packaging. Earrings can be returned if not worn. Custom orders are final sale.
How do I start a return?
Email admin@auracharms.com with your order number. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Sizing & Chain Lengths
What chain lengths do you offer?
We offer 16", 18", 20", and 24" depending on the chain style.
How do I measure necklace length at home?
Use a shoelace or ribbon, place it around your neck, and mark where you want the pendant to fall. Lay it flat and measure with a ruler to find your preferred length.
Can I request a custom length?
Often, yes. Email admin@auracharms.com and we’ll see what’s possible.
Custom Orders
Do you accept custom work?
Yes. We offer:
- Shortening necklaces or adding a chain extender
- Pearl restringing — starting at $55+ depending on pearl size and clasp type
- Custom pearl necklaces — we can source specific pearls (e.g., Edison pearls, 20", with a solid gold clasp) and hand-string your necklace
Custom design work includes a non-refundable $50 labor charge. Before finishing, we’ll send detailed photos of unstrung pearls, clasp options, and layout for your approval.
